This package offers routines for the following tasks

  • Copying the photos from the camera chip grouped by day to the PC
  • Creating an Irfanview show from one or more day directories
  • Removing unedited photos from the show in favor of edited ones
  • Extracting the GPS information from the photos using IrfanView or Exiftool
  • Creating a KML file (Google Earth) from the extracted GPS information
  • Interpolating missing GPS data
  • Copying a filtered selection of photos to an external storage device (USB stick)
  • Editing the EXIF info in JPEG files from special comments of a show (",-a=b") by Exiftool

    An external program (IrfanView, Exiftool) is used to extract the exif information from the photo.
    ExifFromJpgExtractor
    This class extracts EXIF information from JPG (*.jpg, *.jpeg) file in a file with extension *.exif using irfanview.
    Filters
    This class contains some useful FilenameFilter instances and a class.
    Filters.ShowFilter
    A filtername filter consisting of the set of all all photos of an Irfanview show or a directory.
    Main
    The main class of the photo application.

    National Language Support, @see Nls_de, @see Nls_en.
    Nls_de
    National language support for German (Deutsch).
    Nls_en
    National language support for English.
    PhotoException
    This class is the only checked Exception in this package and its subpackages.
